Night at Le Noir

A fellow ex-Upfront model and Aussie singer Lila Swain came here for a short visit, and the two of us had a smashing time in Le Noir! Just a pair is enough for partying at times, as long as the company is great fun. She suggested drinking at Le Noir, a favourite haunt of models during our times with Upfront. But we were still kind of considering if we should pop in, since we didn’t have a large group of fellow models with us which would guarantee free entry and drinks haha. We hung about a while in front of Le Noir, pondering a bit, before we started heading off to check out other clubs. 

But just as we were about to walk off, a Le Noir staff ran up to us and beckoned us in! Somehow, Le Noir must have lost its former fame, for them to be desperately roping in good-looking people in that way.  But it was a great deal for us anyway, so we went to the open bar to drink whilst waiting for the club to open.  The staff was really friendly, telling us that we could just let her know anytime we need a drink.

 

 

Us and the sweet staff. Her staff name was Snooki! She was kinda sad when she gave us her name, and we assured her that she looked way prettier than Snooki.

When the club finally opened, we got in and had more drinks. Most in the club were girls whom the staff enticed in with free drinks, and we started chatting a bit. Most of them are foreigners, which was the reason I suspect that the staff tried to attract us as well. After all, Lila is clearly a Caucasian, and she wore such killer heels that night that made her really tower above average Singaporeans. Looking back, I should have really worn stilettos as well. What was I thinking man. 

Anyway, as she knew the bartenders, we were able to enter a VIP area and have fun without so many people rubbing their bodies against us. Whee it was totally awesome! I got the chance to try test tube shots which I had wanted to try for a long time. They tasted damn good! Really sweet. But I wonder if the drinks were all watered down that night, we had so much, and we weren’t the least bit high. Which was good too actually, since it was just the two of us, and I absolutely hate hangovers.
